Kota Kinabalu also offers a wide range of activities that visitors would find interesting and affordable. The Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, immediately fronting the city, contains 3 islands within a 15 minute boat ride from Jesselton Point jetty or Sutera Harbour Marina. Snorkel and dive equipment, jet skis, para sailing, banana boat rides, flying fish, underwater walking tours and kayaks are available for rent from the island operators.

Borneo Biking Adventures (see website)
Borneo Biking Adventures offers something a little different for the more  adventurous and speed inclined. Aprilia off road bikes are available for touring around Sabah  or just Kota Kinabalu. Do visit their website if a biking adventure stirs your interest.

Mount Kinabalu (see website)
No trip to Sabah is complete without heading up to Mount Kinabalu, or least to the Mount Kinabalu National Park. Visitors have the option of visiting the base at the Kinabalu National Park for the day, or visit the Poring natural hot springs. However those interested in climbing the mountain will need to book your spots at least 3 months in advance, through either the Timpohon or Mesilau trails.

White Water Rafting (see website)
White water rafting is a very popular tourist activity and usually require at least a half day excursion.Operated by Traverse Tours, this company has more than 10 years of operating rafting trips, trekking, camping and even corporate training.
